And then it turns out they were working on Half-Life: D0G.
NGL, that would actually be awesome
DOG VR would be amazing.
It’s so cute to watch people hype this up. Most be younger folk who haven’t lived through the prior 900 fake HL3 hype cycles.
Its probably a Half Life: Alyx sequel. Which is mega hype because that is the best VR game ever.
Spoiler:
! G-man unexpectedly plays a huge role in the game towards the end, to the point he’s so powerful you’re not sure he’s human.!<
That plus Valve’s next VR headset codenamed Deckard is gotta be right around the corner, with the controller leaks. Alyx released
along sidethe Valve Index to show it off. Lastly the marketing info for SteamOS being show combined with rumors Deckard may be a stand alone VR headset, or an optional add-on.Your spoiler tag is broken
I don’t know if different clients/instances/communities could play a role in how those work, but I don’t think I’ve ever really seen many working ones, at least as long as I’ve been using Voyager.
Voyager uses a different format.

That is the actual formatting for all of Lemmy to the best of my knowledge.
Some of the apps people use don’t do formatting properly.
Damn. Wish that was standardized across clients.
If it’s standalone i hope they have a way to use it as pcvr. But actually pcvr. Not this usb heavily compressed dogshit that other standalone headsets offer, like Meta.
Alyx came out about 9 months later, actually.
Can you cite where you learned their new software is actually Alyx 2?
Alongside was poor word choice. Regardless Valve now has a history of releasing their own games for their new hardware. Alyx for the Index, and Aperture Desk Job for Steam Deck.
Cite? Its all just speculation… Even my comment is just speculation and prediction…
You didn’t originally have a “probally” in there. I was just looking for additional reporting on your assertion.
Yes I did. I only edited my original comment to cross out “along side.”
