    I went with some friends to mcdonalds (not my place of choice) and was shocked at the price of fries. Every time I see defense of this price gouging with “akshully profit margins have remained so thin” it makes me wonder who is getting all the benefit of these increased prices. Also, thin profit margins don’t mean much when you can easily make profit margins thin by funneling revenues into different avenues (e.g. executive payouts).
