I’ve just seen enough Wikipedia sockpuppet investigations, where the server admin can see what device you’re using. I’m assuming that they can often view your OS and device name, which indeed are easily changable.
This isn’t particularly helpful, but getting off of

If you want to read reddit without posting, just access via old dot reddit dot com. There are browser extensions that do this automatically, which are amazing. You can even access NSFW stuff if need be.
If you need to post to again, you almost certainly need a new device. Reddit probably blocked your MAC address as well as your IP. But you’d probably need a new router cuz that has a MAC address as well. There’s weird ways to change or spoof MAC addresses, but AFAIK they’re not simple.

I had a workmate develop a chronic illness after an infection of COVID, and he had to leave under hardship. People that hung out with him as best mates for years stopped talking to him in a matter of days.
I updated my old post with specific quotes to anti-vaccine and global warming skepticism. It’s unquestionable that he was/is a antivax and a climate change denialist. He has double digit number of climate change and vaccine skeptic articles. Ya he’s less “global warming is in fact a scam perpetrated by globalists” [link] than he was 15 years ago. But as crypto-fascists do, they tweek their message.
I posted many things that he wrote in the last five years, even the last year. Brian Bertelic hasn’t deleted those videos or articles, nor has he self-crit over them. Fuck I might have been a lib in 2012, but I wasn’t a super chud. And I don’t leave up super problematic shit I wrote on social media. I can’t stress enough, watering down one’s message is a the hallmark of crypto-fascists.
