Summary

A video encouraging women to vote independently for Kamala Harris sparked outrage among conservative men, who called it divisive and “amoral.” The video highlights the gender gap that has widened between Harris and Trump, with recent polls showing notable leads by Harris among women and Trump among men.

Critics like Charlie Kirk labeled it “nauseating,” criticizing the wife for lying to “her sweet husband who probably works his tail off to make sure that she can go and have a nice life and provides for the family.”

Supporters argue it reflects real tensions around women’s autonomy, especially in conservative households.

It was a goofy thing to do, that probably made it harder for all the women out there in relationships like this. Every woman knew she could do this, but now because Jimbo saw this ad, he’s that much more likely to beat the shit out of her to get her to confess how she voted because she smiled wrong when she walked away from the booth.

I think it was a bad move.

And just why does she have to lie about it to her “sweet” husband?..

My wife would beat the shit out of me if I didn’t vote for Kamala, and I’d deserve it, and enjoy it.

So it is “amoral” to tell women that they can make their own decisions. Thanks for clearing that up, Newt.

I can’t imagine (as a unmarried guy) living in a marriage where my wife would be afraid to tell me who she voted for. Even if she votes Trump, she’s my spouse, and that comes way before that. She should chew me out if I make her feel afraid.

…It makes me feel shame for the culture some men are raised in.

I’d you’re married to someone who has opposite political views than you , your marriage probably has a lot of issues and voting secrecy is way down on the list. You don’t need to be perfectly aligned but mostly.

I don’t know. If my wife voted for Trump she knows I’d leave her, so I can imagine she wouldn’t tell me if she did. Not to mention she’d have to have been lying about her entire personality the whole time we knew eachother XD.

This is why you should know who you marry before you get married.

Stop letting regressive religion control your lives.

I’m willing to take bets that sometime in the Future there will be a call from Republicans for a new law that allows husbands to see how their wives have voted.

To protect Family values… And to stop disharmony in the marriage…

And, of course, to prevent voter fraud…

If the Conservatives had their way, women would not be allowed to vote at all. Unfortunately, that still seems to be one of their goals. I mean, Trump and his henchmen have already made sure that women are no longer allowed to control their own bodies, which I have to admit I thought was impossible in a Western country. What makes you think they’re going to leave it at taking away women’s right to a secret ballot. These people want to reverse advances in civilization like women’s right to vote all together. That’s what conservative means to them: back to the Middle Ages. In this sense, they are little different from other religious extremists such as the Taliban. Their goals might be a little different but their means are pretty much the same.

If conservatives had their way, men would vote on behalf of their wives and unmarried adult daughters.

In a functioning democracy, a vote should be secret by default, and that should be the social expectation. If you wanna tell people, sure, but not in a way where your actual vote can be proven.

Sooo if you’re a potential husband with a penis, vote for Trump for the following reasons:

    1. Guaranteed husbandry or at least fatherhood. Just go out there and fuck someone, they gotta have the kid no matter what. Your cum is valuable.

    2. Ah yes. You think I forget? You can grab them by the pussy…if you’re famous. So go out there, fuck somebody, be famous and grab them by the pussy!

3)Earn a second vote. You heard me right. You can’t incriminate each other and therefore her vote is your vote.

Now go out there and vote! Vote Trump! Fight the enemy within. It’s just not right! Bikini at the pool and allowed to vote? Heck no! Women should be prepared for being attached to a 4x4 in the bedroom permanently for the sole purpose of making love to the man. And sometimes for having babies, but hurry up with that, and don’t feed babies breast milk at the park. And those naked things that happen in California the gay, Oregon and the independent country of Washington State, those gotta go!

Fuck! I don’t know, I’m just an engineer. Maybe roller skate wheels. It’s a complex design. I’m thinking sex swing hung from a gantry that you can move around the house as you see fit to place the woman where you decide the woman should be at. But you would still need to immobilizer her. They don’t really like being permanently glued to things. You might end up with broken dinner ware. Lobotomy gets you 90% of the way. Maybe republicans can figure it out for us. Like if women were not allowed to sing or hear the voice of other women, that would be a step in the wright direction.

What about the husband vote cancelling out the wives vote?

Both humans have agency. If you are going to frame the issue as treachery, then the husband shouldn’t vote against his wife. Or, is the husband owed two votes and the wife none?

    Fuck that.

They believe if you do not earn money or earn insignificant amount then you do not deserve to vote or have a say in politics. You can estimate their thoughts and actions based on this simple starting point.

These idiots really miss the fact that most women can, and, in fact, must work. This idea of a “sweet” husband who works to provide for his family is so outdated it’s absurd.
