Tsk tsk tsk. Sounds like your parents owe you a 3br house.

Two best examples were:
Total War censoring the username Nasser to N***er
Gamefreak banning their own Pokemon (Cofagrigus) from online play unless you renamed it first.
The owners do not give half a shit if you tip their workers or not. They get their tipout regardless.
You can actually help by tackling tipping culture on a city/province/state level. You’re not doing anything by stiffing your server besides saving yourself money and costing your server. If you don’t go out to restaurants then whether your tip or not is no one’s concern.
Otherwise you’re still rewarding tipping culture by patronising venues that pay their workers a sub-livable wage.
You’ve clearly never worked as or known anyone working as a server holy shit lmfao
I’m sure your server will understand. They’re usually the ones in charge of decisions like these. /s
Unless your server has to tip out (which they all do) and so by choosing to hit that 0% your server now has to pay to serve you.
Because they never cared about government overreach. It was always a lie to appeal to gullible rubes.
you must wait
Furthermore, if the manufacturer wants to pretend that they’re selling you a perpetual license to use the hardware or whatever legal bullshit they came up with on the back of a cocktail napkin between lines of coke then they can’t advertise using the words buy, own or anything similar without explicitly indicating in the largest font that you aren’t the owner of the product.
A PAC is a political action committee. You can only donate $3300 to a politician but if you donate 33 million to a PAC that pac can advertise, organise and campaign on the politicians behalf. Effectively sidestepping political donation laws.
What about using it to generate model textures instead of buying overpriced bloatware from the unity store that’s probably stolen anyway?
They should probably either learn to texture, use free public domain textures, purchase some ready made texture packs from an artist, or pay a texture artist who doesn’t deserve to be out of a job because of a techbro plagiarism machine.
Generative AI is some seriously cool tech but the fact that it’s built off of plagiarised content and that it’s being used to undercut workers is not a vibe.
Pepper by Butthole Surfers.
I’m very impressionable.
Legit forgot the name for a second. I was frantically scrolling across Europe for a reminder.
One thing that always jumps out to me with each of these is that these videos are all just a sequence of 3 second clips stitched together.
I know all film consists of discrete shots edited into a larger piece but there’s something mechanical about these. Like I’m watching a slide show that’s just been placed in chronological order.
This person was referencing the obtuse and infuriatingly repeated quote from Margaret Thatcher (rot in piss) “The problem with socialism is that you eventually run out of other people’s money”.
I don’t think I need to point out exactly why this quote is stupid.
The protest isn’t intended to hurt the owner class. The protest is intended to draw attention to the issue. We’re talking about it therefore it’s an effective form of protest.
Without protests like this we go about our lives worrying about bills and ignore the literal apocalyptic catastrophe we’re nose-diving into.
It’s not so much that the word itself is offensive it’s just that using it as a noun instead of an adjective to refer to a person carries with it connotations and implies you’re referring to a person as if they’re a subject or an animal or something below human.
To quote Homer Simpson:
Lisa! If you don’t like your job, you don’t strike. You just go in every day and do it really half-assed. That’s the American way.
It’s just extremely overused. There are other words that could be used but slammed makes it’s way into every second article which is becoming an indicator of a low effort article.
The fact that shrink-wrapped agreements aren’t automatically void worldwide is a fucking abomination. No you shouldn’t get to push a legally binding contract on me after I paid for the product. It’s my property now and if you want to require a license agreement after the sale then I should be able to decline it for a full refund fuck you.
