The reason why I think it’s legit is because most of the potential/later competitors were picking up the bombed out pieces post war. *the straight white male ones of middle class means and up

I’m now wondering if we ever had the highest standard of living or if it was just propaganda.
America has the highest standard of propaganda.
I think the baby boomers* immediately after the post war up until ~1970 legit had the highest standard of living in the modern world.
