OTTAWA - After four Conservative Party candidates were dropped from the running this week due to contentious social media behaviour, many have questioned why the party still refuses to drop its most prolific candidate despite his 20-year career consisting almost entirely of controversial statements.

      Keep saying that Onion/Beaverton headlines are becoming more believable than actual headlines. A week or two ago is was looking through my feed while making coffee, and saw a Beaverton post. Something along the lines of US military and Trump advisors accidentally add Ian Hanomansing to Signal group discussing invasion plans.

      My sleep addled brain spent nearly 5 minutes in existential crisis trying to remember if the Beaverton was satire. In the end I had to open their About page to reassure myself…I don’t like it…
      I read satire to laugh, not to worry that they learned from their mistakes and avoided adding Ian Hanomansing to the group chat so we don’t have some forewarning…
