I randomly decided it’d be nice to have a casual city builder to have in the library. If you’ve played Nova Roma, is it a good choice for that? Currently I don’t want to get into something more advanced like SimCity 3000.

The thing is Nova Roma isn’t released (although they might have had a demo released).
Out of more casual city-buulders, you have Pocket City 2 and Kairosoft’s games such as Dram Town Story and Venture Towns.
Nova Roma’s water physics system does look cool though.
