It works fine for people who frequently present with it, but I honestly just avoid videos in my presentations because I don’t want to mess with it.

Sounds like you want streaming software like OBS, not Teams…
Yeah, maybe Parsec.
Teams isn’t intended for streaming video games, it’s for meetings.
Discord would be optimal. But not an option.
