MS office is on its death bed. It is mostly around for legacy reasons. These days people are just fine using things like Google Docs or Libreoffice.
If a company does business with government, Windows/Office is the only way to go. So absolutely legacy reasons. There are a lot of viable choices today. It’s amazing to think that Office is something like 20% of revenue last time I checked.
I’m pretty sure Gen Z have no idea how to use it
The more the young generation comes in the less legacy things will be needed
