He most likely wasn’t in a good mental state and needed support from his friends and family. Healthy people can tolerate a lot more than career death.

I’m not saying he was out skipping around to top 40 songs and then was like, “eh, fuck it.” I’m saying his mental state was likely unhealthy because that is the ethos in that industry. It’s succeed or die.
