Mobvoi’s alternatives always boasted of much longer battery life than Pixel or Galaxy counterparts. The author moans about lack of Google Assistant support and wireless charging but honestly, significantly larger battery life is more than worth any Assistant. In the same boat here, buying a TicWatch 3 was a waste of money… In the end, a cheap Mi Band does what I expect of a smart watch better than the premium priced TicWatch. All I really need is reliable notifications and Mobvoi can’t even deliver that.
I’m staying well away from anything Mobvoi and I recommend everyone else do the same. Good hardware held back by awful software.
