Also if there was a leak in the box you knew about it before you put it in the water.

They had a time machine that could go back in time seven days. The pilot had to fly the machine chasing the earth as he traveled back in time.
He would usually end up crashing it somewhere and have to find a phone to call for pickup.

One of the techniques for waterproofing was put the electronics in a open at the top box and fill it with oil that was heavier than water. Messy but it worked.

Algorithms is interesting but the actual algorithms aren’t terribly useful so far.
The Screaming Staircase has a very neat world but not very interesting characters. I’m hoping it improves.

Blah got it backwards. Back to coffee for me.
Twice a time period. Semi for every two time periods. So every two weeks is semiweekely. However it gets misused so often you almost always have to check making it almost useless.
Similar to failsafe vs redundant.
Honestly the best are ones that you enjoy. People pickup on the honest enjoyment of the activity and respond well to it.
That and base line social skills are all that are needed to make friends.
