  • I like to draw a contrast with Xi Jingping’s recent summit with the Arab League.

    1. He praises them on their achievements, acknowledges the difficulties and asks them to strive to create creative new solutions to existing problems.
    2. Asks the leaders a bunch of questions as to what is going on right now to get their insight.
    3. Thanks them for educating him.
    4. Asks what role can China play in a mutual “win-win” relationship.
    5. Thanks them for their time and gifts them some Chinese food, beverage or trinket.

That’s largely the way he goes about interacting with nations, compare that with the Occupied Indigenous Nations that we commonly call “USA”, and how they claim to “run the world”.

  • I think that the US State Department blew out of proportion the fact that Vietnam sided with the USSR in the First Cold War and not the PRC (which were technically allies of the US at that moment) and the spat over the Spratly Islands. Sure they do have disagreements but to believe that Vietnam will seriously be used as a pawn against China is absolutely moronic.

Edit: There’s also talk that China is trying to strike a partnership agreement of sorts with the Taliban administration in Afghanistan and US American spooks are seriously trying to be like “Hey, buddy, remember the good times we had together? Yeah, you don’t want to do business with China, they’re evil!”…

  • To think Ukraine could’ve walked out of this with nothing more than a bloody nose and a bruised ego. At this point Russia has no incentive to stop, they’ve mitigated the sanctions, found states willing to buy their oil and gas and learned to produce weapons of war without importing parts… militarily they’re winning and it’s unlikely Ukraine can reasonably expect to fight much longer without a total adult male conscription (like the Nazis did once the USSR breached Germany’s borders) and even then, it would destroy their population in exchange for buying time, not a victory.

They went all in on the West, and I think just now they’re beginning to realize that they got duped.

  • If anything Russia is testing DPRK’s weapons against American/NATO tactics and weapons of war. The DPRK is dedicated to peace above all else and would much rather spend their meager resources on feeding, housing and giving leisure and comfort to the Korean workers. The Korean People’s Armed Forces are 100% dedicated to just two objectives.

Objective 1. Self defense against the US, Japan and any other Western nation (I don’t care if Japan is ethnically East Asian, they’re Western at this point) and any other threat to their homeland.

Objective 2. The defense from takeover by the puppet regime in the fictitious “South Korea” and when the time is right, the liberation of all of Korea, and to move the historical capital of the Unified People’s Republic of Korea from Pyongyang to its proper home to Seoul (or Kim Il Sung City).

The DPRK is one of the few nations on earth with a military of their size that has ZERO interest in conquering even the tiniest speck of dust outside of their nation, especially since the express purpose of jucheism is communism in one nation with the goal of stage 3, the elimination of Korean nationalism (even if by force) and borders to join the international community in the worldwide international worker’s state. Even if this process will have to be over a span of centuries.
