Why wouldn’t it be an important question?
Why wouldn’t it be an important question?
Gee, I didn’t realize two little dings like every third time you turn off your car (if there’s something on the seat) was so damn annoying. In fact, I hardly notice it even when I’m hauling stuff, which is about half the time I’m in my car.
It’s not like it’s the seatbelt warning that constantly goes off until you finally put on your seatbelt.
Almost all modern cars (made in the last few years) have some kind of warning when you turn the car off and something is weighing down the backseat. My car has it.
Though it’s possible to turn it off, I think it should be required to not be toggle-able.
And how each ingredient is clumped together in one spot in each burrito.
So you end up getting a bite with a ton of meat and a little cheese, or all rice, or just a shitload of sour cream.
I don’t understand why so many people, right now in the last week and a half, are suddenly saying “let’s replace Biden” after both parties pushed their candidate of choice through the primaries, and when we’re literally just months away from the actual election.
Like, are we seriously that dumb? Are there really that many election disinformation bots running around Lemmy? What the fuck is happening?
ETA: nvm, didn’t realize the primaries happen so close to the election. Disregard my comment then.
That’s literally the only explanation. No one just says that shit.
Go reread my comment.
Also, here’s the definition for “Harass”
True, however when I was visiting my brother earlier this year (for about a month) at least every three-four days he’d say something about my weight and how concerned he is.
It got very very tiring/grating after the first couple times he said something, so I just kinda had to tell him what’s what with that part of my life. He still says it, but it’s a bit less now.
Which is what they said in their comment.
“If we can attack the problem at the source…”
I’m a larger person. I definitely want to lose weight and get in shape, but it’s that hurdle of getting over your own self that’s the hardest part for me.
I know that once I get into a rhythm and habit, it’ll be fine and I’ll even like it at some point, but I can’t really get myself to start, even though I know I need to.
Also, I actually like that Walmart has the “sensitive” shopping hours.
So it should still be considered a hate crime regardless of current events, no?
I mean shouldn’t it be a hate crime regardless of current events?
But yes.
Calm down Guttenberg.
“Work from home”
Fuck I’d love that if I could WFH at a restaurant job.
I mean, even if they went back to 24 hours, I’m sure it would still be able to change at a certain time, like midnight or something.
But I get what you’re saying.
On one hand, this cuts down on paper/sticker waste and time spent making and printing new prices and such.
On the other, I don’t like that they could just change the price whenever they feel like. Though others have said multiple states have laws against changing prices during the business day.
I wouldn’t call locking them in a kneeled position while people throw rotten food at them “violent,” necessarily.
But I’d love to see it happen anyway.
Jesus fuck and I thought don jr. had a coke problem… This dude’s whole body is bouncing all over the place with every word he says.
Why should anyone pay to use a bank? That just doesn’t make sense to me
