Kolanak, you are a beautiful, multifaceted weirdo, and seeing your comments really help make Lemmy feel like home. Please do some kegels to help ease your gaping asshole.
Wisecracking isn’t the same as being happy
The second Apple rolled out face ID, I knew this tech was ready and waiting for forced ads
Just like internalized misogyny is very much a thing in women, internalized racism is a thing, too. It’s sort of like a poor person aligning themselves with the rich against their own interests, if that’s easier for you to visualize. All that to say, I agree with the other commenter— that cop is blue.
Is it just me, or does she look GINORMOUS compared to that child? He looks at least 3, but is the relative size of my 5 month old?
Alrighty, yup that’s nasty. Didn’t know they came in cubes
Oh, is that not spam in the pic? Thought it was, my bad!
Somehow, though, when it’s pan-fried in teriyaki sauce and put over rice, it becomes delicious. Musubi gang wya
Hey, at least they were able to protect abortion access via direct ballot voting.
Fucking thank you. Men’s libbers (and there’s a loooooot of them on lemmy, as you can see in your downvotes) like to trot out the “men don’t report because of stigma!” line, but it’s like, my guy, women do too?? For every woman brave enough to report, there’s anywhere from 5-10 that don’t report at all due to fear/stigma.
Of course rape happens to men (mostly by other men) too. But, couple things:
They should set up debate podiums at all these places he’s following her and have her stand there, ready to debate. Then we can watch him turn as chicken shit as Trump and refuse.
From the bottom of my soul, FUCK big cars. Our cars are so much bigger than they need to be, and they legitimately ruin lives with their size and blindspots.
Aren’t mirrors not recommended because of the potential hazard of them shattering and piercing baby in a car accident? It’s why I don’t have one; I wonder if that’s why these other parents didn’t, either
Honestly, looking at our forecast predicting a 104 degree week ahead (and this year has been mild so far, lol), I’d agree
I’m not saying it doesn’t make sense monetarily, I’m saying it leads to an altered perception by people who don’t think too hard about it in regards to how other regions live during winter
Yeah, where we are you can’t really start looking forward to the weather until at least mid-October
They’re prob one of those people who refuses to get a good coat. Classic Southerner behavior, tbh. We hardly ever have a true need for good winter clothes down here, so most people don’t know how to layer properly to stay warm, so they think people living in colder climates are just freezing all the time. Because of barely having any inclimate winter weather, too, we don’t invest in much infrastructure to keep our streets clear of ice/snow, so the roads are always terrible after snow storms. People generally won’t shovel their walkways, either (even people who usually carefully tend their yards in other seasons!)
This leads to most people having a skewed perception of winter around here lmao
But no one is investing billions into your dog’s shit, are they?
I swear I’ve seen it on reddit before. Maybe the internet brainrot has finally come for me
