I doubt you need more than a notepad app. It’s what I used the last two times I had to move between countries and it was more than enough for me and customs. I simply wrote down important stuff as I put them in numbered boxes.

Spreadsheet are overkill, a note app is easy to access on your phone at all time and can be easily shared with someone.

Yup, that’s why I got a Mac. It works perfectly out of the box, no rugged edges apps, no drivers/hw concerns, excellent battery time. Best UNIX laptop for the time being.

I give you as main flaws the cost and the irreparability of the hardware and maybe missing out on a few games but that is probably a tie with Linux, since it runs the same emulators/transcoder if needed.

Well, I’m cheap so instead of spending 300 bucks on a Google router I bought three Xiaomi ax3000T for €35 a piece. They are listed as compatible with openwrt but for the last couple of month I’ve just been using them with the stock firmware and the WiFi mesh with backhaul works great.

What probably help more in Go is the lack of a central repo so you actually need to “go get github.com/whoever…” so typo squatting is a bit be a bit more complicated.
