Camera, sometimes you can get distracted and exceed the speed limit by 1-2 km, so what? The camera will record a fine for you… So, my careful opponent, who always and everywhere does not violate traffic rules, anything can happen in life, I, for example, would not be sure that anything can happen to me without my direct intent, I am not as self-confident as you.

Andrei@lemmy.mlto Selfhosted@lemmy.world•TOR asking to run snowflake to help Iranians with internet accessEnglish11·3 days agoLet the Iranians, many of whom live outside their country, do it, after all, if I think so, it is necessary for their people! Once again, do not meddle where you do not need to! THEY’LL FIGURE IT OUT WITHOUT YOU!!
P.S. And yes, I know the technical side, but here the moment is more political.
Andrei@lemmy.mlto You Should Know@lemmy.world•YSK: In 1959, the CIA secretly stole and photographed a Soviet moon probe without the Soviets ever finding out.2·3 days agoAn ingenious way to spend American taxpayers’ money… And then keep it a secret from us, because they realized that it was a damn stupid and pointless idea… 👍 😂 Well, on the other hand, at least we learned something, it is also useful. Stealing technology is also work!!
So, for example, it was with the Russian scientist Mendeleev, he invented smokeless gunpowder (and many other things Periodic system of chemical elements, a lot), but naively believed that technology should belong to all mankind! And you know what? As a result, the Americans patented that gunpowder and began to make money on someone else’s idea…
Andrei@lemmy.mlto Selfhosted@lemmy.world•TOR asking to run snowflake to help Iranians with internet accessEnglish332·5 days agoAnd why? So that they then leak information, why everyone climbs where they don’t need to, do not interfere with their lives, they themselves will sort out about their Internet, what kind of mania to climb everywhere, they will have to install it themselves if they need it… 🤬
You probably live in a deep village… I always use a navigator, even for short distances, maps show where the speed limit cameras are, where the police are now (by 80%) because users set where they are now… Interchanges, highways, etc. But in general, of course, cameras (their number grows like mushrooms after rain)Now you can’t go anywhere without navigation.

Andrei@lemmy.mlto Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•Celsius and Metric users of Lemmy, is there any cute tips or sayings that help generalize a measurement?1·1 month agoI use micrometers µm when I buy a water filter (mechanical), µm 1 micrometer traps debris more than µm 5 micrometers and bacteria, as well as some large viruses.
Andrei@lemmy.mlto DeGoogle Yourself@lemmy.ml•What apps do you use now that you're degoogled?11·1 month agoUse HMS Core (Gallery Huawei) store…
Do you even understand the meaning of secrecy? And the point is that you cannot enter the Signal without authorization by phone… And in general, no one cares about your messages (what is inside), the main thing is who, with whom and when. You will be imprisoned not for what you wrote to Osamma en Laden, but for the fact that you contacted him at all (then turn on your imagination and find some other international villain)
Not a newbie since 2001 (but moved to Mint)
Andrei@lemmy.mlto Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•Celsius and Metric users of Lemmy, is there any cute tips or sayings that help generalize a measurement?7·1 month agoThe military and doctors in the United States officially use the 24 time format, there is something to think about (when we talk about accuracy and adequacy)
Andrei@lemmy.mlto Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•why polish teens seem to like russian culture more than polish adults?53·1 month agoNow, yes, because of politics, there are problems of entry/exit to Poland and, in turn, the disruption of economic relations. Millions of residents of these countries suffer because of Western politicians.
Andrei@lemmy.mlto Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•why polish teens seem to like russian culture more than polish adults?87·1 month agoNo, there are problems in Poland in relation to Russia, older people are happy to speak Russian (and they will tell you the way… They will help with something else, no problem). And this hysteria of yours (as someone said here - they lived under the boot) is truly propaganda of the West. Where did you get it from? In general, the Russians and Poles are Slavic brothers, here they (we) are historically closer than the Germans, the Dutch or the same French (well, you can expect meanness from them to pour enmity). My daughter studied at the Polish Academy (being Russian and Ок). I live 15 km from Poland.
