  • It is possible for both sides to be bad. In fact, I’d say it’s pretty common with the retaliation and escalation being “justified” by one side in reaction to what was done by another, resulting in forever-conflicts where stoked by individuals who personally benefit from such.

In most cases those supporting one or the other never acknowledge that though.

I’m other words, Hezbollah is garbage. Hamas is garbage. The Israeli government is largely garbage. The fervent supporters of the above that keep them in power… also garbage.

  • Ok, so when the police use a young-appearing officer to nail somebody who is looking to hook up with what is listed as a 14yo… that’s just going to get dropped? Because it seems that’s a tactic that’s been used often enough and the actual age of the officer matters less than the intent of the perp to engage in sex with a minor.

The argument “I just thought we were role-playing” isn’t significantly different from “I totally know this ‘14yo giving a BJ to old man.mp4’ was AI generated and that’s just my fetish, not real kids”

  • Within the context it’s presented I 100% agree with this. The airline case the AI was basically replacing a human agent/representative, so they were liable in the same way as if a human had provided the misinformation.

In this case, it’s presenting details as fact as if they’d come from legit news sources etc. They should face the same penalty as a news agency would be libel.

Now if it’s just an AI NPC in a game going a bit off the rails, that’s just entertainment. So long as nobody gets to pull the “we’re not really news, just entertainment” bullshit.
