Yikes. Where I live it was a couple of weeks during the summer, but not much more.
Remember when they talked about it for like 2 days last year and then everyone went back to brunch? Must’ve been the wind haha XD
Idk they seem like standard dogs of imperialism. I think they’ll make way to a more palatable liberal. I share the sentiment though
This just reads like a bait and switch. NPR just went “holy shit le ebil CCP is disappearing people overseas with this huge state apparatus on foreign land and they even make threats to other countries’ airports and public buildings! Oh nah nevermind, but they’re still evil OK?”. One paper didn’t even retract it’s bullshit after it came out false.
Never pass up an opportunity to make propaganda about the state’s enemies.
RETVRN to god’s chosen rulers
The unions declared a general strike!
E: Seems the military retreated, “for now”.
What part of this article or the post shows support for Georgian Dream specifically? Do you think we support Putin’s party or Iran’s current government in the same way? Not trying to come off as smug
I mean, we do support them, but critically, not blindly like the word “fans” or “aligned” may suggest. I don’t get what’s the difference in this situation wrt Georgia. If you think this isn’t worth critical support you should just say that instead and explain materially why.
Welcome to this lonely club, comrade. The presence of socialists/communists depends a lot on your location, mostly in big urban areas like Madrid or Barcelona. Since their scope is almost always local, you’re gonna have to find out by yourself (yeah I’m not being helpful at all here 🫠), through social media (twitter, insta) or IRL, like going to protests. In big cities, I’ve seen some housing unions, mutual aid, and BDS branches. If you’re a student you can maybe look for the student union. Don’t expect any revolutionaries. There’s also Movimiento Socialista, which are trots iirc. Lastly, with regards to parties, I wouldn’t join the PCE. Maybe the PCPE or PCTE, but they’re completely irrevelant and I haven’t heard a single thing they’ve done other than going to protests, making statements and having very niche podcast/radio shows.
It appears this is the Nature article he’s talking about
