    I think it’s meant to be a young John Lennon, though oddly it says “jelly” (American word for jam) whilst showing jam and toast and spells “favourite” in the American manner, so I guess it’s an American comic about a British band?

      Remember, the Beatles were huge in America too. There’s lots of American Beatles memorabilia out there.

      Also, did John put the jelly on the corn flakes or…?
