It’s so expensive in the States… I live in Okinawa, Japan, so if I wanted to go to Disneyland, I’d have to fly to Tokyo and stay (not at the resort, somewhere in the city) for two few nights to make the most of the day in TDL. Even then, if I were to go today with my wife and two kids, it would probably only cost me 2-3k USD, total.
We were pricing our trip, and actually considered flying from New York to Japan to visit Tokyo Disney (and also see some of Japan) and it would have cost less than staying at a premium resort in Orlando. It is absolutely ridiculous.
