Why would a basketball court have to be shut down like this? Was a homeless person going to play basketball and they had to put a stop to it?

There’s probably some reason why the court was unsafe to play on. I’ve seen them do this when the park was closed for construction.
Kids were probably fighting or doing drugs
No way, look at that grass. That grass screams suburban dad spending too much time on the lawn.
