They have proven in no uncertain, inarguable terms that they do not care about women. This is not about saving the ‘poor babies’ because these fetuses would die regardless when the mother dies.
These women could be devout Christians in long-term marriages and on their fourth pregnancy. It doesn’t matter in Idaho. This is punishing women for literally existing.

I’m sorry the current state of things has made it necessary for you. It’s especially frustrating when so many medical procedures are called “unnecessary” by the health insurance industry, but truly unnecessary surgery is being made necessary by the same people’s political choices.
Thankfully, I do meet criteria for medical necessity, it’s just a matter of getting it done in the middle of medical school instead of when I’m done with everything and actually have a substantial amount of time off for full recovery.
