I know we’d all love this to be some grand conspiracy, but likely his outspokenness about open AI shut a lot of doors. He was likely blacklisted and had no future prospects, and so he took his own life.
Of course he wasn’t in a good mental state. I’m not saying he was out skipping around to top 40 songs and then was like, “eh, fuck it.” I’m saying his mental state was likely unhealthy because that is the ethos in that industry. It’s succeed or die.
Even if you are completely closed of from AI as a profession, there are still way more possibilities, even in the same general field(computer science).
Even then you could go through a career change. He looks like hes in his 20s or 30s which isnt late at all.
