Lmao, you’ve never heard of Lennybot.
Scammers are stupider than you could ever imagine.

Jen and Berry’s
It literally keeps every single conversation you’ve ever had in a big long list on the left,
Not all of them, actually. I regularly have to use the search function to find chats/groups I haven’t used in a bit. The most organization you can do is the dozen pinned threads they let you have.
My CISO has all but said he’s going to prevent any auto-rollout of that shit because it breaks decades of user training and TRUNCATES THE FRONT OF THE URL, NOT THE BACK LIKE ANY SENSIBLE APPLICATION.
Like, let’s make it so Steve in accounting can’t see that the login link he wants to click is actually haxxor.com instead of bank.com, makes perfect fucking sense.
This may be a silly question, but as far as online games that work, it shouldn’t matter if my friends are on Windows, right?
It shouldn’t matter, Linux and Windows and Mac are all compatible ‘PC’ platforms. As long as the game is supported/runs, you should be good.
“Here, have this piece of niche software that’s ok I guess as a way of me charging you out the ass for the only product you actually care about.”
Tools like restic and Borg and so critical that you will regret not having had them sooner.

I just experienced this when a little mini PC I bought <2y ago cooked its nvme and died this month. Guess who has been meaning to set up backups on that guy for months?
Unfortunately, that nvme is D. E. D. And even more unfortunately, that had a few critical systems for the local network (like my network controller/DHCP). Thankfully it was mostly docker containers so the services came up pretty easy, but I lost my DBs so configs and data need to be replicated :(
The first task on the new box was figuring out and automating borg so this doesn’t happen again. I also set up backups via my new proxmox server, so my VMs won’t have that problem too.
Now to do the whole ‘actually testing the backups’ thing.
Lol, don’t expect neonazis to be internally consistent when they can use “one of the good ones” to further the narrative against their class.
It’s funny, switch the roles and you’ll have a situation that actually happens outside of shower conversations.
A literal neo-nazi. He was on Infowars with NazYe too.
ALL SOSIAL MEDIA EXPECT FEDIVERSE
If I’m honest, I can take them doing that to desktops. I hate it and think it’s stupid, but I can also see that in not the target audience and don’t like computer touch screens.
What pisses me off the most is that they did it TO THE GODDAMNED SERVER VERSION TOO! There is no reason for 2012/r2 to have the tile interface other than both are built on the same architecture. Its so asinine to have a touchscreen interface on a server platform.
It might work that way, actually .
Just because the phone is encrypted doesn’t mean there’s not an exploit that makes it easier to bypass or extract the passphrase. Celebrite is unfortunately pretty good at attacking out of support phone and breaking into them.
Use a modern, supported OS on a device put out by a trusted vendor and you’re probably ok. But old software/hardware makes it much easier to bypass.
Because it’s worse than new outlook, and that says something.
Nice! I’ve job hopped a few times and tripped my salary in 5 years and am at a unicorn msp with unlimited PTO and management that cares about employees.
I wish I could find a union IT shop, but nothing around that I’ve seen available. Happy to hear my first statement isn’t as universal as my experience suggests!
There are dozens of us (working for MSPs because in house doesn’t pay as well and companies are cheap and want to outsource that cost center)!
I don’t think I’ll ever get a flip phone until they improve the clamshell design. I’ve got a friend who just had one die because their kid (denies, but likely did) closed something between the two halves and the top of the screen shattered and rendered the phone unusable.
She still has hers and has had it for a couple years, but that kind of fragility is a no go for my clumsy and forgetful ass.
I don’t vape nicotine, so those sorts of things are basically out of my reach. I wish I lived in a legal state and I could get liquid refill bottles.
Discarded vapes? The only immediate trip hazard of tripping on discounted vapes would be the mob of people trying to buy them.
I took would like to know as well.
