Why does meditation need my financial information?
Or these are all apps to demand your time and effort to input information constantly and have to remember to care, all while being notified, reminded to do things, annoyed, tracked, and used.
No thanks.
How about the built in reminders app, the built in journal/notes app, the built in health app, the built in fitness app, the built in background sounds feature and a browser for learning?
Sure, maybe less features, but better UX, no subscriptions, no ads and better privacy.
Or are we downloading random apps just for the sake of it?
I can’t articulate why, but this feels a little dystopian.
Probably because overall, this app collection treats you like a machine in need of precise optimization and maintenance of everything including relaxation?
That’s what creeps ME out about it, at least 🤷
Yep, that’s a shit post.
Use a water reminder app on my watch, but my problem is that I try for a gallon a day, and my options to add water to the app are limited. Either I can do 250ml at a time, in which case I have to try and mentally count how many sips I’ve had, and add it when I think I hit 250ml, or I can lower it to around 20ml, or a sip, and I can only add 99 in a day…
Either way, it’s a PITA. I just got a 4 liter metal water bottle, and try to make sure I drink the whole thing in a day.
