Well I think it’s pretty fair to say a lot of people were tuning in to see him get his ass beat. He’s made a career out of being a piece of shit that people want to see get knocked out. So he wins by us all hating him because if we’re hating him we’re paying attention to him.

But Twitter has been bleeding users. And since the election there has been a very public and very large exodus, including a lot of bigger names with tons of followers. So this isn’t about “go where the viewers are.” This is “spend money to stay on the good side of someone who might be even more inordinately powerful with an incredibly powerful and vengeful sidekick.”

I dunno man, most women in my experience have all really appreciated (and as much said out loud) that there was communication. Sure, if it happens without any prompting or guidance, it’s mind blowing because it feels like there’s something naturally special going on, but that’s a pretty rare thing. Sexual compatibility can be tweaked and guided, for sure, but then again there are also people who just don’t have it together.

There are also just toxic people that want perfection with zero work. But that’s not how shit works, even if they can be a vocal group

A lot of fruit/veg is grown in places they can get away with slave wages and then shipped here because that’s how little labor costs. Less than our already super low paid fruit/veg pickers that are primarily the people who escaped the countries and situations that put them in those even lower slave wage places.

I was just pointing out that you said they did Bernie dirty in 2016 and then said in 2020 Biden knew he could beat Bernie on name rec alone. I was just clarifying what I think was the bigger betrayal.

I mean, people…this comment is true. Yes, “every vote counts” in that the more people that show up, the higher the vote count is. But one vote will not sway the election. It will irreversibly harm the climate though. If every single person had this attitude, the story wouldn’t be news, but if this were everyone’s attitude, it would make a difference. I don’t remember the philosopher that theorized the whole “act in a way that you would want made into law for everyone to act in that same way” thing—but what’s worse, everyone expending tonnes of co2 as law or one vote going uncounted?

Everyone says they did Bernie dirty in 2016, but no one ever brings up how in 2020, the establishment dems all dropped out of the race in exchange for cabinet positions to rally around the elder statesman Biden—when Bernie was winning the primaries.

That, in my opinion, is far dirtier and a much bigger “fuck you” to leftists/progressives/humanists than 2016.

Maybe the saddest part about all of this is due to the structure of American politics and the vitriol right wing voters have for people they deem “others,” there are, sadly, perceived “winners.”
