I remember seeing a faded, sun bleached poster of this on the wall of our guidance counsellor’s office and thinking, those animals look so adorable. Didn’t make me want to smoke but also didn’t make me not want to.

I am not sure if it is a good campaign. I don’t smoke but this makes smoking look cooler than most of the old smoking ads I have seen.

I just don’t understand how people accept smelling like absolute shit all day. idk if they think they stop smelling the moment they litter the street with their cigarette butts but that shit stays on you for the rest of the day and when you walk around you smell how an ashtray must taste. disgusting.

It pretty much stays on them 24/7. They get desensitized do it but yeah, they just smell like shit 24/7 and you can smell it pretty far away

I have a disabled neighbor that I help out around the house every now and then, she’s been a smoker for decades. Long enough that she had to get tracheotomy so she breathes through a hole in her neck. Hasn’t stopped her from smoking like a pack a day. Because of her disability and advancing age, a very kind neighbor built her a house and gave it to her for free. Her smoking has ruined that cute little two bedroom, to the point that everything in there is stained nicotine yellow, and reeks. That house will just have to be torn down when she leaves, because they’d have to gut the entire thing just to get rid of the smell. It’s disgusting, and the fact that she got that house for nothing makes me all the more pissed about it.

My grandmother was always a smoker. The smell reminded me of her and her home more than anything gross.

Also the smoke does make the ability to taste and smell significantly worse.

That being said I finally kicked the habit 4 years ago.
